ABOUT

Bridging Belgium and Vietnam
through impactful investment

5I2 Capital is an investment firm connecting global expertise and capital to transformative opportunities in Vietnam, focused on long-term growth, sustainability, and measurable social impact.

OUR STORY

It started with a site visit. In 2016, members of the founding team visited an Agent Orange victims shelter, linked to their work on a solar park. What they saw, families still living with a 60-year-old toxic legacy, largely forgotten by the world, stayed with them.

What followed was years of building something that had never existed before: forging partnerships, securing exclusive access to the only proven remediation technology in Vietnam (validated at over 99% efficacy in 2022) and designing an investment model from scratch. Along the way, Belgium became the first country in the world to adopt a parliamentary resolution supporting Vietnamese AO victims, cementing the bilateral foundation on which AIFI stands.

The three-pillar model that emerged (remediation, Eco-Industrial Parks, and An Vui Mart) is one of a kind. In February 2026, the Vietnamese Prime Minister gave it his full endorsement, assigning ministries to make it happen.

Aquitara Impact Fund I is the first investment model of its kind. Endorsed at the highest level of the Vietnamese government.

Our approach

OUR THREE-PILLAR APPROACH

A three-pillar model built to turn remediation into returns, and returns into lasting impact

Every dollar invested in Agent Orange remediation unlocks land rights at incentivised prices, which are then developed into Eco-Industrial Parks powered by renewable energy. The third pillar ensures the communities most affected by Agent Orange benefit directly and lastingly.

01 — Remediation

Agent Orange land remediation

Funding thermal desorption remediation of TCDD (dioxin)-contaminated land in designated provinces, in exclusive partnership with Haemers Technologies, the only company with a validated proof of concept in Vietnam, achieving over 99% efficacy and no waste.

02 — EIP development

Eco-Industrial Park development

Developing solar-powered Eco-Industrial Parks in the Northern Part of Vietnam, in one the country's fastest-growing industrial corridors, delivering investment-ready land to factory and warehouse developers.

03 — Social enterprise

An Vui Mart - Micro Convience Stores

Donating micro-convenience stores to Agent Orange-affected families, in collaboration with VAVA. Three pilot stores operational since July 2025, providing families a path to self-sufficiency and economic dignity.
