OUR IMPACT

Measurable impact at the heart
of every investment decision

AIFI's three pillars (remediation, Eco-Industrial Park development, and An Vui Mart) each generate direct, measurable outcomes tracked against internationally recognised impact standards.

~ 150 ha

Agent Orange contaminated land targeted for remediation

~ 200 MW

Solar energy capacity to be installed

~ 700 ha

Eco-Industrial Park land to be developed & sold

~150

An Vui Mart stores to be launched

An Vui Mart

AN VUI MART - SOCIAL ENTERPRISE

Transforming the home of a vulnerable family
into a thriving neighbourhood shop

For families affected by Agent Orange, caring for a loved one often means giving up paid work entirely, trapping the household in dependency and poverty. An Vui Mart breaks that cycle by turning the family home into a self-sustaining micro-business. No debt. No rent. Just ownership.

THE CAREGIVER TRAP

1

Care needs increase
Family member requires full-time assistance at home

2

Caregiver must quit paid work

Hours cut or job lost entirely: income drops, costs rise

3

Dependency deepens
State aid covers basics but isolation grows and options fade

An Vui Mart breaks the cycle
Families earn income from home while caring for their loved one

HOW IT WORKS

1

Selection
AIFI & VAVA identify care-dependent AO families with strong community ties

2

Full store donated

Shelving, POS, branding & initial inventory. Owned outright, no debt, no rent

3

6 months of weekly coaching
Retail, bookkeeping & sourcing. Families graduate to independent operators within a year

Stories

AN VUI MART - STORIES FROM THE FAMILIES

Behind every store is a family carrying the legacy of Agent Orange. These are their stories.

Family Mai Yen Phuong

A mother's strength, a daughter's hope

Her elderly mother ran a tiny shop on credit, just enough to cover medical costs for her blind daughter. An Vui Mart gave them capital, stock, and renewed dignity.

Family Dang Van Nai

Stable income, stable life

"Previously, my family lived mainly on monthly state subsidies. Now we have a stable job and income to cover our daily life. On average, my store sells about 1 million VND per day."

Family Cao Xuan Dao

A neighbourhood fixture

One of the first pilot families in Long Binh ward, Bien Hoa. Their store is now a community landmark, and a model for the stores still to open across provinces like Dong Nai.
